Jane Allison was born on Thursday, August 29, 1861 in in Carbullion townland, Limavady, Co. Derry to Sarah Madigan (c1841 - 1875) and Robert Allison (c1833 - ). [See Section AN-6-1 for family background.]
1881 On Friday, September 30, Patrick McAloon and Jane Allison were married at St. Patrick's R.C. Church after Publication according to the Forms of the R.C. Church. The marriage was registered No.153 at Coatbridge on the following day.
Patrick was a Bachelor, age 25, occupation Collier and usual residence 14 South Row, Summerlee. His parents are recorded as John McAloon, Furnace Filler, and Isabella McAloon m.s. Martin (deceased).
Jane was a Spinster, age 20, occupation Domestic Servant and usual residence No.105, Gartsherrie. Her parents are recorded as Robert Allison, Assistant Furnace Keeper and Sarah Allison m.s. Milligan [sic] (deceased).
