Margaret Dunne (Peg) was born [officially] on June 20, 1877 at Carrigeen in the Parish of Newinn, Co. Tipperary to Ellen Lyons (1852 - 1911) and William Dunne, Carpenter (1846 - 1934). [See Section DN-6-1 for family background.]
1901 March 31 Margaret was boarding in the following household at 2 Poldrate, Haddington, East Lothian.

1912 On Saturday, June 29, Richard Reynolds and Margaret Dunne were married at the R.C. Church, Shotts [St. Patrick's] after Publication according to the Forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The marriage was registered No.18 at Stane (District of Calderhead) on July 5.
Richard was a Bachelor, age 26, occupation Coal Miner and usual residence 166 Stane Place. His parents are recorded as Richard Reynolds, Coal Miner and Mary Reynolds m.s. Lafferty.
Margaret was a Spinster, gave her age as 28 [she was 35], occupation School Teacher and usual residence 53 Station Road, Shotts. Her parents are recorded as William Dunne, Mason (Master) and Ellen Dunne m.s. Lyons.
The celebrant was Fr. Robert Paterson and the witnesses were John Sweeney [who married Richard's sister Sarah] and Helena Dunne [Margaret's sister].

1929 The family moved to Westthorn Cottage at Westthorn Reformatory where Dick became Bandmaster and Night Watchman. Margaret continued to teach in St. Patrick's, Shotts for a time, commuting daily by bus, then transferred to St. John's, Viewpark.
1935 & 1936 The Grand National was won by Reynoldstown, owned by Major Noel Furlong who lived at Skeffington Hall, Leicestershire.
The family moved to 2045 London Road, Auchenshuggle when the Westthorn Reformatory closed on the opening of St. John's, Springboig. Dick retired.
1940 On Saturday, September 21, Richard Gerard Reynolds and Margaret Martin were married at St. Mark's Church, Glasgow after Publication according to the Forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The marriage was registered No.635 at Glasgow [Shettleston District] on September 24.
Gerry was a Bachelor, age 27, occupation Clerk (City Collector's Department) and usual residence 2045 London Road, Glasgow. His parents are recorded as Richard Reynolds, Hall Caretaker and Margaret Reynolds m.s. Dunne.
Margaret was a Spinster, age 26, occupation Clerkess and usual residence 706 Shettleston Road, Glasgow. Her parents are recorded as Peter Martin, Sculptor's Timekeeper and Mary Ann Martin m.s. McKay.

Gerry and Margaret had four children, Eileen, Brian, Rosaleen and Gerard.
1945 Richard Reynolds [Dick], Brass Band Master, married to Margaret Dunne, died at 7h35m p.m. on Thursday, January 4, aged 59 years, at 2045 London Road of Chronic Bronchitis - 2 years and Cardiac Failure - 10 days as certified by Finbarr Lawton, M.B.B.Ch. His parents are recorded as Richard Reynolds, Coal Miner, and Mary Reynolds m.s. Lafferty, both deceased. His death was registered No. 17 at Glasgow, District of Shettleston, on the following day by Helena Mary Reynolds, Daughter.
There is an entry in the records for St. Peter's Cemetery, Dalbeth on January 8 for the burial of Richard Reynolds, age 59, of 2045 London Road, husband of the lair owner, in Lair 87, Section 13A, Western Division (Title No.16426) with a burial fee of £3-15/-.
1945 On Wednesday, October 10, Willie married Rosa McGee at St. Joseph's, Tollcross. They had four children, Mary (1947 - 2007), John (1948 - ), Paul (1952 - ) and Vincent (1953 - 1960).
1964 Peg and Lena moved to 77 Anstruther Street, Shettleston when the whole row of houses in Auchenshuggle was demolished for the widening of London Road.
1969 Margaret Reynolds [Peg], Widow of Richard Reynolds, Bands Master, died at 6h15m a.m. on Friday, March 7, aged 91 years (dob 20/6/1877) at 77 Anstruther Street, [Shettleston,] Glasgow of (a) Generalised arterio sclerosis (b) Hyperchromic Anaemia as certified by Finbarr Lawton, M.B. Her parents are recorded as William Dunne, Mason, and Ellen Dunne m.s. Lyons, both deceased. Her death was registered No.204 at Glasgow (District No.644-2) on the same day by G. Reynolds, Son.
She was buried with Dick in St. Peter's Cemetery, Dalbeth after Requiem Mass in St. Mark's, Shettleston.
1969 December Lena married Charlie O'Conner, a widower, in St. Mark's, Fernhill.
1972 On Friday, July 7, Charlie O'Conner died and was buried in Rutherglen Cemetery after Requiem Mass in St. Mark's, Fernhill.
1992 Rosa Reynolds [Queenie], Married to William Reynolds, School Teacher (retired), died at 1415 hours on Friday, November 13, aged 75 years (dob 22/10/1917) at 437 Amulree Street, Glasgow of I(a) Acute Myocardial Infarction, (b) Coronary Artery Disease, (c) Previous Myocardial Infarction and Left Ventricular Failure as certified by M. McKenna. Her parents are recorded as James McGee, Printer's Engraver and Marie McGee m.s.Shanks, both deceased. 1994 On Thursday, March 31, Lena died from cancer at the Marie Curie Hospice, Huntershill, Glasgow and was buried on April 4 with Charlie in Rutherglen Cemetery after Requiem Mass in St. Mark's, Fernhill.
2011 Margaret died on Wednesday, October 12, aged 97 years.
She was buried in Rutherglen Cemetery on October 15 after Requiem Mass in Christ the King, Kings Park.
2011 Gerry died on Monday, October 31, aged 98 years.
He was buried in Rutherglen Cemetery on November 4 after Requiem Mass in Christ the King, Kings Park.

His parents are recorded as Richard Reynolds, Coal Miner and Margaret Mary Dunne (ms) or Reynolds, Primary School Teacher, both deceased.
