In 1999 I was working in Saudi Arabia at Al Hamrani United Co, the Nissan Car distributor for the Kingdom. I started to design a website as an instruction manual for some new software we were
developing to handle their very large parts distribution operations. This was because there was nothing in print for this bespoke development, and I believed it could be a good idea to do it
as a website that could be hosted on the internet, or on their internal company "intranet", if such a thing had been invented in those days (I don't remember!).
I didn't get very far, as I only wanted to know how HTML worked! When I retired I started to dabble again with the web, and had an attempt at upgrading the original attempt to replace the
older functions no longer in common use (depreciated).
